Donnagh’s debut short films 'Tiger Tiger' and 'Turf' both premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. He gained further recognition at the 2023 Cannes Lions, where his short film script 'I Don’t Dance' earned him the coveted YDA Silver Screen award (Young Director’s Award). In 2025 Donnagh was shortlisted at the Kinsale Shark Awards Short Film Scriptwriting Competition for his script 'The Vanishing Bride'.
His recent work includes the music videos 'Reverie' and 'Tonnta' for folk band Amble, featuring acclaimed actors Laurence Kinlan and Joe Mullins. Tonnta was recently shortlisted at the 1.4 Awards, earning Donnagh a nomination at the Emerging Directors Awards (EDA) and winning at the 2025 Shiny Awards. His music video 'Greatest Prize' for Charles James & The Rise was awarded Best Editing at the 2025 Kinsale Shark Awards.
