Donnagh’s debut short films premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. He gained further recognition at the 2023 and the 2026 Cannes Lions, where his short film projects 'I Don’t Dance' and 'Left Unsaid' earned him the coveted YDA Silver Screen award (Young Director’s Award).
His recent work includes music videos 'Reverie' and 'Tonnta' for folk band Amble, as well as 'Greatest Prize' and 'Sailor & the Saint' for Charles James & the Rise. These projects have earned him awards at the Shark Awards, Emerging Director Awards (EDA), Shiny Awards, Conero Film+ADV Awards, Waterford International Film Festival and the Disappear Here Film Festival.
